About Me: Originally, I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — the Steel City (also known as a drinking town with a sports problem)! It's natural that construction has been in my blood with a career rooted in public service. Initially, I started working in business development roles at two different industrial trade associations prior to shifting into procurement roles in public agencies. My path to sunny Arizona wasn’t exactly straight, although it was inspirational! Although I lived in Tucson for a few years as a child, I was talked out of attending the University of Arizona, yes, because of football (showing my age pre-streaming days). Instead, I graduated from Duquesne University and although I did begin pursuing a master’s degree in public management at Carnegie Mellon University, life took a different direction.

What I Love About Arizona: I finally landed in beautiful Arizona in 2010 and founded Sunny Path in 2018. It has been a wild ride that I'm grateful to have been driving, at least some of the time. When I’m not working, you will likely find me paddleboarding, hiking or at the park with my rescue diva pup, Mavis.

Background: I’ve worked as a public servant and procurement officer in several capacities for many years, driven by effective procurement strategies and stakeholder objectives – fundamentals that sparked the evolution of Sunny Path. My certifications and memberships include: Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP), Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), National Member of NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement, National Member of the Institute of Supply Management (ISM), Arizona Association of School Business Officials (AASBO) Member.

Sunny Path: Procurement is truly not suited for everyone, and, all the related nuances most consider “red tape” in the public sector, is what we master.
