About Me: I’ve lived in beautiful Arizona my entire life with the exception of a three-year adventure in Peru when I was young. I currently call Northwest Glendale home. I’ve been happily married for 40 years and am blessed with five great kids and four amazing grandchildren who keep life full and fun.

What I Love About Arizona: I love sharing a meal with my family. When it comes to food, I don’t have just one favorite spot in the Valley, but Mexican and Italian cuisine are always at the top of my list.

Background: I’m a proud graduate of Maryvale High School (Go Panthers!). While I didn’t attend college, my career path led me straight into public education, where I’ve spent 43 years — the majority of that time specializing in public procurement. I am a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), a national member of NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement, a local member of Arizona NIGP, and a member of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials (AASBO). Over the years, I’ve learned that procurement isn’t just about buying; it’s about navigating statutes, contracts, and policies to find innovative solutions that serve public entities well. I enjoy the challenge of balancing compliance with flexibility, always working to meet needs without compromising accountability.
